Very cool. I was just down in AZ last month. I am going to have to take the XJ down there next time.

Gets alittle hot in the summer but its perfect right now!!! It's a great place to get out doors and have fun.

I went through there about 15 years ago and it looks exactly the same. Glad to see the pics as I never took any.

I went there as a child. I learned that there are some types of cactus that have spines like porcupine quills that will break off easily and work their way into your leg.

Yeah getting cactus in you is never fun. It doesn't matter which one they all hurt and all are a pain to get out. My buddy crashed his mountain bike into one a few weeks back and it to 4 hours to get all of it out. He said there was some still coming out a few days later.

Yeah getting cactus in you is never fun. It doesn't matter which one they all hurt and all are a pain to get out. My buddy crashed his mountain bike into one a few weeks back and it to 4 hours to get all of it out. He said there was some still coming out a few days later.

In my case it was only one thorn and being the child of a doctor, I did not want him to get involved. It would just end up bloody and I would still have the thing in me, so I just pulled up my pant leg and pulled it out myself, at the ripe old age of 4
