View Full Version : Blown Motor Carnage

The other day my motor blew and it threw the number one rod through the block on both sides. There is now a hole from the motor mount forward and a nice dent in my hood from flying parts.:eek: Does anyone else have similar 4.0 carnage stories? I have yet to hear about one blowing this bad.

Thats a first for me and I thought I'd heard itall when it came to Jeeps. Sorry to hear that.

ya but some of those moters were just fine too - dunno I just dont agree with destroying a perfectly good vehicle just cuz its old

I dont know if I would even call it a SANAFU - I would more call it government working with the banks and auto makers to put the average american that had a paid off vehicle more in debt by getting talked into buying a new one!

One of the dealers here never could get a 4.0 to blow/lockup in a Cherokee. Once they cut it off it wouldn't start back up but they said it would still crank over.....GO JEEP!!

The current administration will have everyone in debt up to their ears and we won't be a threat to any other world power, very soon. It is the plan to spread the worlds wealth to everyone whether they deserve it or not.

SOCIALISM at it's finest.
