These are my rigs/toys. My trail rig is an '00 XJ Limited with a 4.5" RE SF lift, 33" BFG MT's, Dana 44 (locked), Currie Steering, Armor on everything, Cut Fenders, among other things......

I got my front bumper from JCR Offroad. It's their Stage 4 bumper, I also got the frame tie-ins to be able to use it for recovery. It's a great bumper, has taken a great beating, and has been put through some rough recoveries. I highly recommend them.

Yea Jeff, I wish my g/f would get rid of her Liberty and get an XJ as well, but it'll never happen. Look on Craigslist/Ebay and other forums. There are really nice ones out there, you just have to keep your eyes open for them.

I really wonder how long it will be before the blue one is lifted, wheels, tires, snorkle, blah blah blah. :driving:

Thanks guys!

The blue one will get a 2" budget boost this summer because I can't stand it stock, but don't want to get myself into SYE, CA, new Driveshaft, larger tires, rubbing territory. No snorkle for me, they're personally not my style and I don't go in anything that deep. Wheels will always be these because I love them, and they'll keep everything nice and tucked in the fenders. I'm going to have a hard time passing inspection in Jersey, and don't want two difficult vehicles.

I figure 2" BB, 245/70R16 All-Terrains (either BFG, Firestone, or General), take off the brush guard, clean CB Radio install, get rid of the amber part of the taillights (make them just red and white, get the rear bumper and endcaps re-painted because the paint is bubbling due to a poor repair job from a previous accident, and be done with it. Make fun of it all you want for it being kept a street queen, but I already have my trail rig that I wheel the heeelll out of!

I haven't made fun of it :smiley-angelic006:

In this case I don't think 'pretty' is a compliment.:)

I was wondering what kind of brush guard you have on your blue xj. I have been looking for deals on brush guards and they are hard to come by. Wondering if a 94-98 ZJ guard would work. THANKS!

The brush guard is a Manik brush guard. I took it off and sold it, as I don't like the way it looked on a stock XJ, and it was also causing the front bumper to start rusting at the mounting points. Rust = bad, so I took it off.

THANKS!!!! I love them! I just need to fix the Trail Rig and the DD has a budget boost now. I'll get some pics of them up soon.

Bad thing about a go anywhere vehicle. They go ANYWHERE! :patriot:

Yea it's nice having two, especially when one isn't running I still have another to drive around in :D

Unfortunately, it means that the TR sits longer between repairs since I'm not in so much of a rush to get it done.

Have had as many as 4 at one time. Some were for parts but at one time I had 3 registered and tagged at once. One was my hunting vehicle and wife had one and I had my DD. Back to just one XJ & one MJ currently.

The worst part of the story is that her ex ended up with it.

Guess that proved Mudd's point.......................it went anywhere. Not where he wanted it to go.
