ok so a lil about my new project,i traded my sweet *** truck for a project for my family and i......1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ limited. 140xxx miles. Inline 6 cyilinder 4.0. Leather interior. Custom sound system and new deck. Custom headliner "xj" bubbles out from the fabric . 4.5 inch skyjacker lift rollin on 33 mud terrains . K40 cb antenna and cobra cb radio. Custom tint on windows. Cherry Bomb exhaust system. . Dana 33 in back Dana 30 up front posi. the first pic is of the truck i traded to get the jeep (SACRIFICE)

So other then the bumper ive torn the dash apart to fix a few electrical poopoo's and next=tomorrow after work i get to learn about the vacuum actuater for engageing the 4x4 aparently the guy was climbing under the truck every time he wanted 4x4 and moving one single vac hose back and forth lol any extra insight on this situation would be helpfull :cool::driving:

more pics as i slowly get a couple things done on a tight budget, i found this bumper on craigslist for 60 bux...not bad considering most that i see are goin for well over 100 bux anywho i also added lower support bars for my oversized front bumper that belongs to a full size bronco lol...i decided to keep it since the bars around the headlights almost perfectly line up with my tires and make good eye markers

also keep in mind lol my previous bumper in the rear was a 4 inch pvc pipe lol

The vacuum "motor" on the disco D30. The one that controls the shift fork. I happen to know alot about those... due to the fact of all the work I have done in that area of the axle. 3 seals and I just replaced mine because the shift fork broke. I have also taken one apart to start building a posi-lock but ran into a problem.

sorry guys i've been working in reno with no laptop so i couldnt respond no i havent figured out all the vaccum yet but really havent had the time to try...lol i really need to get some XJtalk stickers though, coming home from my coworkers house yesterday i saw tons of XJ'S at one point i sat at a light with four, me and three other anyways ya the vac lines goin from the axle to Tcase or wherever is where im confused i tryed the wrecking yard but they were all stripped,so any idea's/pics of how to fix it myself would be great

We're hoping to have some xjtalk stickers soon, but I can't tell you for sure when. xjtalk is poor! :rotfl2: Believe me we love having those stickers on your Jeeps. As soon as it's possible we'll be sending more out. Thank you for wanting them! :thumbsup:

odd i posted earlier and it didn't stick...no i haven't figured it out yet ive been working out of town in Reno, Nevada with an abscessed tooth none the less, i wish i had my jeep up there though lol i saw tons of snow trails that looked fun,ok so ive been going to junkyards to try and find the whole thing intact for a visual if nothing else but no luck...Reno junkyard has about 15 xj's just sitting out there and one of them looked like it should be on a trail right now lol but they had that one in the no fly zone assy if you ask me...on my way home from my coworkers house yesterday i sat at a light with 3 other xj's all decked out goin in different directions i need some xjtalk stickers:patriot:

xj89, I will take a few pictures and try and give you a breif discription of how they are ran. I will just need a little rime on it. I have 3 sick kids at home and I still have to work.

sounds good...any help is welcomed and as far as the sick kids go:stars:i feel ya i have three of my own who seem to collect germs like trading cards lol sux...and just to let ya know you can't but bleach in them to kill the germs(so my wife tells me)lol j/k hope they feel better soon
