Hey guys so recently I've been getting on track and fixing all my front end parts so I will have a better ride (new drop bracket and adjustable track bar, hubs, u joints, ball joints) now the only thing left is to fix the angle for my drop pitman arm(I got a new one) but the problem I see is that most say you'll strip the threads of the drag link end, and busting the boot with a pickle fork. Anyways I have been looking for a new drag link end and everything keeps popping up tie rod end...are they universal? I want to be sure before I blow out my drag link end and I'm stuck searching for a new part
Thanks for the help!

Yes it is still a tie rod end, in fact it may be referred to as an inner tie rod end.

One end of it however is fixed and cannot be replaced. Only the pitman arm end. To preserve it use a tie rod end remover. You an rent or borrow from Autozone
