As far as the inspection plate bolts & nuts.. The information as I can find it in my research for parts gathering to building my stroker up (eventually)...

Bolt - 11504922
M12x1.75x50

Nut - 11502723
M12x1.75

As far as the oil pan bolts.. I found PN's from Mopar.. but nothing as far as the specs for picking up replacements from local hardware store.. PN's are : 04637548 (521041820AB, 52104210AB) Alright, talked to a friend of mine who had to replace his after accidentally throwing the original ones away.. and he said the size is: M6x1.0 with a length of either 10mm or 15mm (he couldn't remember 100% correctly on the length)

Hope this information will help you out and get you fixed up!!

I put a cotter pin in. I'm currently not driving it only because I'm doing a coolant flush and replacing transmission cooler lines this weekend.

Time for Long Arms and a 6.5" lift!! That'll clear that issue right up!! LOL.. But you should be able to pull that arm, and the adjuster (what those two bolts connect too)... and then hammer it back straight.. if you have a heating option, that'd help make it easier to massage straight..

Yeah, that was my plan on my 97, but as I was fixing the jacked up stuff the PO's had done to it.. I just decided to start replacing/upgrading while I was at it.. My suspension when I got it was a cobbled together ball of crap, and was honestly down right dangerous to drive.. She'll be taking on a whole new attitude before you know it!! We here @ :xjtalk1: will gladly help you spend your money to build her up to what you want!!

I'd say pull the bolt, and check it to see what condition the threads are on the bolt.. Looks like when the bushings were replaced the bolt was cross threaded in.. I know when I did the new bushings on mine, I had to fight a bit to keep that from happening.. Matter of fact when I first reinstalled it, looked just like the one you got there... and I was pretty tired of messing around with it, and not to mention it was freezing outside at the time... but I pulled it back out, made sure I hadn't jacked up the threads, loosen the other bolt on that bracket, and ran the bolt back in then tighten the other bolt back up and was good to go..

Oh.... yeah, that might be an issue!! Sorry if you said that and I missed it.. Eh.. sway bars are overrated anyways.. :bacondance::smiley-scared003::bacon dance: Not real sure, without cutting into the "frame" to hold the nut and removing the bolt, and then welding in a new nut and "boxing" the "frame" back up afterwards, how you'd be able to do anything with that.. other than like I said, if you were going to just get rid of it completely then you can just cut the head off and ditch the bar, then but down whatever was left, or knock it up into the "frame"... Someone else might chime in, if they had similar situation and how they handled it.. but those are pretty much the only two I can think of, off the top of my head.. ** although... I wonder if you might not be able to take the other bolt out (might have to remove the other side as well).. and bring that bracket down until it is putting pressure against the "nut" on the inside of the "frame", while you turn it... and maybe then you can get it off..or even maybe tighten it up the rest of the way... just a thought, not sure how well that'd work.. but could be worth a try...

That will be a tough one to fix. I think the only way to do it is to either tack weld it, which is what I would do after cutting off the bolt with a grinder, or after cutting off the bolt, remove the bumper and weld a nut on a long piece of metal to hold it and then inserting another bolt. It would be kind of like the track bar and some upper suspension link nuts which are in blind spots.

Okay what if I just take the sway bar off? How bad of an idea is that.

How important is it that I get it fixed?
On a scale of 1 to 10,
1 being high priority,
10 get to when I get to it..

On a stock suspension, I would keep the bar on. It does help quite a bit with cornering and pitching. However, most lift kits have stiffer rear springs and will allow you to be closer to removing it safely. As far as a number scale, that would be subjective. It is dependent on the tolerance of individual drivers

Just so I get better understanding of it. How well it affect the handle of the drive?

It is there for a reason. I would keep it. After removing mine and running a soft suspension I was glad to have one back.
