I would like to get some good quality parts. Standard shocks, non cheap crap. Nice smooth ride long lasting. Please provide links.

I love this site.

I run the Bilstein 5125s, and they were a night and day difference between those and the white body rough country shocks that i had in there previously. Im really happy with how it rides.

I've never tested them, but I've heard from a number of people that the Old Man Emu springs and shocks are high quality and ride very comfortably.

I'm also interested in what you guys suggest. Specifically, I'm curious if anyone here has run Procomp springs. My local parts guy swears by them and they're probably some of the cheaper springs I can source around here (without buying no-name garbage).

If anyone has them, do they ride nice? I kinda want a progressive spring that'll happily soak up the bumps. Something bordering on being too soft at the beginning of it's spring rate. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

I'm running Rough Country n20 shocks and Rough Country springs. I can only compare them my old 21 year old worn out stock shocks and springs. They're def much better.

Yep, you're right. Metal Cloak makes them. I've heard good things from the people in JKs I've seen with them.

I don't think their shock design is a proven concept yet, but the springs looks solid.

All of these can be used without a lift change?

Ive got Monroe shocks from Farm and Fleet with 100K on them. Im also going to replace the springs while Im down their.

are you lifted now? not sure they make a stock height spring

No Im not lifted now and Im not gonna be lifted in the future. My son and I have a goal to see how many miles we can get out of this SUV. He thinks we can get to 400,000, keep in mind he is almost 15 and it will go to him at 16.

I would like to get a bilstein shock for non lifted? The best one. Does anyone have a part # or something?

Thanks

I took one shock off the front and one off the back. IT's not the shocks that are bad. What could it be? Could it be the front springs? They have 251K on them.

What sort of issues are you having?

Also if I get a full front brush guard and metal bumper will it lower the front end to which I need lift springs?
