As she was the day I bought her home. Not much done to her yet other than add an ipod compatible cd player. More mods to come when the handbrake (wife) allows me to spend more it. She's not exactly stock as she has rancho 5000 series shocks in her.

You have the two most important ingredients, to me anyway, It's a Jeep Cherokee and it has that "4x4" sticker on the rear quarter panels.

She's beautiful! I look forward to seeing more as you build, hell you could just keep it looking this way! :D

Well down under we only got the XJ's in 4wd form. I have been tempted to take the stickers off. She should be getting a snorkel in the next week or so. And then some muddies.

Nice and clean rig you got there... what bumper do you have on the front? Doesn't look stock.

Can anyone shed any light on this sticker in the glovebox

Is this the american way of saying I have a limited slip diff or is it possible this is some american after market diff locker ?

Its actually called a smart bar , made of some funky hardened new age plastic. I intend on replacing that with an arb bar it some stage. I guess the aussie idea of a stock car is one that hasn't been touched in the engine bay. Bullbars are very much common place down under.

i'm sure there is. i had a warning in my glovebox that caught my eye it says.

"This car equipped with locking type differential. Rear wheel will drive if in contact with ground even though opposite wheel is raised. Do not run engine with car on jack unless transmission is in neutral or park. See owner's manual.

3157268 Printed in U.S.A."

Sparked my interest so i opened the diff and sure enough it was factoy posi.
