I Got this 2001 xj and it has to different tire sizes 225 on front axle and 235 on rear axle I Hear that could be a problem because of diff in wheel speed and the two axles being locked together could damage the t-case but i dont have full time 4wd and run it on dry pavement i only have 4wd part time and use it on slippery surfaces so does that make a difference and am i at risk of destroying my transfer case

It could if the rolling diameters are different. You don't state what the profile percentage is. Like say 225X70X15. But it is probably a sure bet that the rolling diameter is different. On a slick surface this can make some control problems. Larger tires on the rear will make the rear break loos and tend to make the back end slide. They really need to be all the same size

Ok yea i figured and u are right about the back end wanting to come around easily I've noticed that and thanks for the reply
