Has anyone put any time on one of these new 2 in 1 laptop/tablets? My only experience involved a guy that was using a Surface or Surface pro. He ran a projector with it and also used the keyboard to run some quotes during the presentation. The edges were flush with connectors, USBs, card readers, etc. Seemed to work and really like the detachable aspect of them.

Just curious how durable they would be. I can see the hinge/docking parts getting worn and not functioning. Santa was bringing wife a new laptop but thinking these are quite versatile and curious how durable. any input appreciated.

was looking at Toshiba and HP but I'm open to others. LMK what ya'll think of these convertible units.

Thanks!
D

Would like to see some reviews/experience with these too. Not like I have the money but seems like a great, multipurpose doodad.

I played with one at Costco the other day. Looked neat, but about $1100 more than I can afford right now....

more my speed. for 1100 bucks i can get, well... a lot! This is gonna an email checker with the occasional spreadsheet and word doc machine. portability is cool. but I need a computer, not some f'd kid toy that isn't worth a shit in 6 months.

bought this one. my reasoning was if we don't like the convertible aspect, its still a laptop. I'm enjoying my touchscreen laptop so I thought was a good next step

wife loves it; the convertible part is pretty cool. she flips it over and use it as a tablet/stand quite a bit. good machine, I'd recommend it.

I've been using a nextbook for about a year as my backup pc. Seems to work well. Even after the upgrade to windows 10.
