Katy is about 20 miles West of Houston. Houston is about 239 miles from Dallas. It takes about 3 and a half hours to drive there from Houston.

Job market here is really bad.

Heppner is about 8 hours ( I think ) north east of you. Do you know where Hermiston/Pendleton are? I am about 45 minutes south of Hermiston.

Job Market here is really bad as well.

Got it, I know where you are at now. I am originally from Louisiana and people there laugh when I tell them I live on top of a mountain 4500ft in the air in Oregon.

I have been through K falls many times but always thought it is just to cold to live there in the winter. I Lived in Madras for 16 years and that was bad enough at 3700ft. I can handle the elevation in Heppner it's only 1955.

What brought you to Oregon from Louisians?
