Maybe I'm bias, but........wheres the problem?

Was that Ford offered in a 2 door over there?
Almost looks like a Nova from the front. (67-70+)

Has anyone considered sealing up the interior well enough so that water would have a harder time coming in? The next step would be to add a tank of compressed air so you could pressurize the cabin and have air pressure keeping the deep water out.

Now I know water is much heaver than air, and you can compress a gas, so it may not be feasible to have enough air to keep the water out.

Just a thought I had when the wife hit me with the frying pan in the head recently. :driving:

Your ears will really pop if you do that. Don't do that with a cold.

That would be cool though. Dukes of Hazards style!

Just pull the carpet, herculine the interior and drill four 2" drain plugs, one on each section of the floor. Fill and drain as needed. :) (wranglers have these plugs for this very reason)

How is this a store run fail? I would definitely call this a SUCCESSFUL store run. It would be a dream to go get stuck in mud on the way to the store to pick up maxi pads for the lady.

Ok a pressurized cabin may be too complex, but how about an inflatable bladder that goes between the doors and the sills?

That's too much work too. I would just pour gallons and gallons of wd-40 in the cab until it's up to the bottom of the door. That'll keep out the water.

:D
