Just wonder if any of you die hard wheelers have ever spent Thanksgiving on the trail?

If so, do you have the big Thanksgiving feast on the trail? I think this would be very cool! :D

I have never spent all day on it. In the afternoon though for a short little run. But we don't do the big feast thing either. Our meal does not include the turkey, so the cook time is cut way down. This year, I intend to spend some time on the trail evaluating all my new mods.

I hope you have time for pictures, and of course we want to hear about the results of your testing. :driving:

A little update. My wife says she is working that day, so dinner won't be until after 5:00 PM. So I will be on the trail until then.

Really? I thought you'd be preparing that meal so it would be ready when your wife got home. What's her e-mail address, I'll suggest that to her. :rotfl2:

I'd wheel on any holiday if it was up to me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy family and all of that stuff, but it gets boring after a while.

Very boring. I usually wander upstairs and get on the computer.

So since I'll be home with the family where are you gonna head off to? West Side/ High Lakes/ Cohassett. If I know then I could at least be there in spirit !!

I have spent thanksgiving fighting forest fires, in full NBC suit, in the field with the army, kicking a gang out of a house (long story), but never on the trail.

I have a friend that will go to high lakes with me. But there may be too much snow for that out of yesterdays storm and the one we will
have Friday., so I will probably go to Cohasset.
