50 miles south of Corpus Christi, and if you don't know where that is you aren't even close.

I am south so far that SNOW is not in the local vocabiulary. That is the important thing for us here. That and it is very cheap to live here on a fixed income and still live OK.

Anything south of I-10 requires a passport. LOL.

And just because other states don't have the resources and reserved the right to secede from the Union, doesn't mean Texas sucks. It means the other 49 states sucks. So be careful what you say or your state will be invaded by Rednecks with shotguns riding in the back of pickem up trucks.:smiley-scared002:

Tell 'em XXMIDIANXX.

If you go through the Border Patrol Checkpoint:smiley-gen165: and don't have a Mexican accent you are considered suspicious :smiley-scared002: and subject to a through vehicle check.:patriot:

Not unless you know someone with a big ranch. My buddy's dad had one but he died this past summer from prostate cancer and the family sold the place. I now have nowhere to wheel my XJ.

can you wheel on the beach????:driving:

You can drive the beach at Bolivar. But if you stop you need to have a permit. You can get the permit at any convenience store on the island. It is $10.00 and good for the calendar year.
