Went to Ocala National Forest to see if we could catch the Navy doing some bombing runs but the weather held them off. We had a blast exploring other areas we haven't visited previously and possible future camping sites since the great fall winter/fall temperatures are just around the corner.

Yup, did one of those scouting runs myself. Going in a week and half to enjoy a new area for us

One of the things I miss most about living in Central Florida. I read about the bombing exercises planned for the weekend last week, and was a little bummed I couldn't make it out to watch.

Judging by your pic, great minds think alike!

Yeah I enjoy riding around Ocala even if it is pretty flat. Where are you now abebehrmann?

Just moved to Dallas. People here ask if I miss the beaches but I really just miss my Jeep friends and the public off-roading parks of FL. Not too many of those here unfortunately.

sorry to jack the thread for a sec, but if you want to venture closer to Ft. Worth, there's parts of the Trinity River you can wheel around and whatnot for free :D It's where I used to go

No worries Brasscatz. My brother in law recently moved out to the Dallas area himself and I am making plans to visit Texas in the near future, I'll have to see if I can make time to meet up with some of the local jeepers.

Made another trip out to Ocala this time with a different Jeep club. Thanks to the recent rains there was plenty of water on some trails. Found some new areas and met some new jeep friends. I'll post the pictures once they finish downloading.

Felt bad when I got stuck in a hole only to have a YJ on 37's not get any further than I did.
