OK so it's about time for me to create a build thread. It will be a slow build! I just picked up my 4wd transmission and transfer case. Another Flogrown brother, I too have a 2WD XJ, but the one i have is HOLEly and that is an understatement. I just look at it as me getting to know my car better.. But i cant wait to see the progress. This will definitely inspire me to another level. Please keep us posted

yeah i know exactly how it is, these days i do more work on all my friends jeep and have no time or money for my own.

Well transmission and transfer case are in! Still need to swap the front axle and add the linkage. Waiting till I get a new oil pan as its just easier to remove the pan with the axle out of the way. Ran into a slight hangup with the rear drive shaft. It seemed to be a little longer than it should have been and we had to shave about an inch off the yoke on the shaft as a temp fix till I get the right shaft.

yeah! I decided the factory type linkage sucks and went with the direct linkage from boostworks. hopefully soon we will be getting the front axle swap done but we are waiting on an oil pan as the one in my xj has a stripped drain plug. figure easier to change the pan when the axle is out of the way.

OK so the front end, shift lever and linkage are going in Sat. Just need to get a hold of a set of axle shafts for the axle. Will be using my 2wd hubs till I get the shafts... going to hit up the scrap yard next week. Can get them for $20 per so getting closer. At least it will be ready for jeeptober fest!

Cool I hope to get a few runs before then. She only has a 2" budget lift so won't be getting crazy. But not going to hold her back from what she should be capable of.

Some pics from jeeptober fest! Got the 4wd done the night before lol...... The build will be getting a little bit quicker now that I have won a $500 gift card for dick cepek or mickey Thompson tires in the sat raffle. I also put cash down on a front winch bumper.

Now that you have prepared for the zombies, you need some zombie related switches to operate your zombie related accessories (lights etc) Here is an article about a guy that sells some really cool switches for the zombie attack rig.

Yeah, going for a official style look on the interior. Switches will more likely be marked with locations of lights and whatever else I have on switches.
