They're going to discontinue this type and revise it again. The previous model was called the Future Enforcer MT. Cooper Tires makes Pep Boys brands (Future, Definity, etc..)

Thanks guys. Its been a month now but been getting usage of my of my arm and leg back. Arm is about 90% full capacity but walking around has been rough. Waiting to see if Army is going to continue my therapy and let me finish out my contract or start a medical discharge w/disability.

Sorry to hear about all the medical problems... Hopefully whatever is more your want is what they decide to go with... even though we know the military is usually more for their wants over ours!! Prayers for full recovery regardless of their decisions!!

Thanks guys, finally got back to work but on light duty. Leg is still bad but trying physical therapy and medications.

Last pic is 3" w/rear shackles and my 31" tires. Now opinion time, once I have the 5" lift on, should I go with 32x11.50's or 33x10.50's and cutout flares?

I would go with the 33s because a replacement is much easier to find. Although most likely a 12.5" wide one. But I guess it really comes down to cost (of getting the cutout flares) and cutting.

I hear ya. I'm picky about my wheels, and don't wanna be another one running soft 8s. Good luck with the 12.5s. Been lookin for several months. Its hard to find anything reasonable that is highway worthy.

Kinda surprised with how much that crank weighs. Its almost as heavy as a SBC crank. Think I need to actually weigh it out of curiosity.

Installed my new rear springs and ended up at about 6.5" w/o my lift shackle so took them off and reinstalled my old springs. Selling off my 2" spacers to a friend for his Xj and ordering a set of RE 5.5" coils instead.

My 1st gear is just about unusable on the street. Its acting more like L-1-2-3-R. I have to start of in 2nd. Creeping around the park or patch of woods near my house, 1st gear creeps.

Not till I get back home this weekend. The ****waffle who owned it before booger welded the old bumper brackets on the uniframe. Have to grind all that off. Jeep Beach 16 is getting closer. If you decide to come on out, you're more than welcome at my camp, no charge.

Don't have to register unless you want to do that obstacle course. A spectator ticket is wayy cheaper for the record.

Our plans are, Fri, we're relaxing at the KOA and grilling up. Sat, we're going for the parade, speedway event, vendors and fireworks show on the beach then going back to camp to cookout. Sun, we're spending a day at the beach.

Took about 2" of lift out of her. Put XJ shackles on rear (shorter) and swapped to a set of 3.5" coils. Now that I'm looking at it closer though, that's the color my first vehicle was. Of course, mine was gloss-coat, but still.

1987 Montero 2-door. 4 cyl, 5 speed, 4wd. Thing was a beast.

Well, after I get off duty this weekend I'll have some time to swap the axles. Was going with 4.88's but the new engine has great power as is so I'm swapping the 3.31 economy gears for a set of 4.10's. That should be good enough for the 31's.

Hey man, are the 10" drums from the d35 in any kind of useable shape? I got a set of backing plates off an axle swap deal to upgrade mine from 9 to 10, but the 10" drums I have are grooved so bad you'd think they were trying to create the grand canyon.

I will gladly take that off your hands. Lol. I received my name years before that series came out. Once that came out, I got the logo decal (The Yin-yan with name) for my first XJ. She was Red and black as well.
Long story short, had a yellow and black 71 Dodge Dart GTS w/413 Max-Wedge (look that engine up. Lol) I named The Shooting Star after Racer X (Speed Racer). When we went to the track for fun, they stuck me in Outlaw Class because of the engine. Announcer screwed the name up over the intercom and well, the rest is history.

Jbain is my brother, I bought that truck stock from a guy that said there's now way i'll sell it...LOL I had a SBC xj that he fell in love and traded for.. Hey I saw a Hillbilly proud sticker on the windshield of that truck in the first pics... Great people and I'm wanting to come to Jeep beach next year can you guy's help me get a camping spot.. By the way I don't know why I put my pics on your build thread... I'm rusty at posting and I quess I clicked the wrong post... Sorry...
I had a Hillbilly Proud banner but the kids climbed on my truck and tore a few letters off. Grrr.. Im originally from WVa myself. Friends at Morris 4x4 asked if I'd run their banner for JB 16.

There's always room at my campground. I always get two just incase someone from my forum or the others can't find a hotel. We all just pitch in and have a cookout at night.

how far is your campground from the beach, my wife is gonna do that and I'm gonna check out the jeep stuff... Bringing down my xj and hopefully I'll have my offroad teardrop done by then.

You can Google KOA Port Orange FL. It's 5 min from Speedway and 10 min from beach. With my military discount, I only pay 120 for two sites, for three days, 2 nights.
