Portable axe

I saw this axe on a survival and wilderness video. It caught my eye so much, I decided to purchase one($9.99). It comes in 3 pieces as you can see in a pack that measures 7"X3&1/2". The axe does not come sharpened. Am I the only one that finds it strange that a company in New York city is selling camping gear? I guess out there it can be sold as waste management equipment.
