rear window wiper

i have a 88 that did not come from the factory with a rear window wiper.
i would like to know if it is posible to put one in?
what would it take just the motor and the wiper arm and the switch?
do i have to get a new wire harnes for the jeep or what would the wireing be to put it in?

Harness s already there but it would be much easier to change the whole hatch. You would need the motor, arm, blade and washer plus the wiring from motor to the plug in the side panel in the rear of your XJ. So a new hatch would br simple in comparison.

i see. but what about the switch on the dash and the wiring for that? do all xjs come with the same wiring even though it does not have it you can put it in and the plug will be their? or do they make them for what they have and not to add something that would come factory on other xjs.
