Mine are 3.75 backspacing and nothing rubs. I have 32x11.5x15 on them though. I have read that too much backspacing can wear out your bearings quicker because of the added torque.

I really like my American Racing Baja II wheels. They were $100 each.

On a car the smaller bearing is on the outside, putting wheels out further puts more weight on the outer bearing, just like breaking a bolt loose with a breaker bar compared to a ratchet.I don't know how much difference it would make on a jeep because of the bearing design.

and what should the offset be ? dose it make a difference ?
i was told that 15x10 with a 3.75 backspace will give me enough room not to rub , but then i see -40 offset
what the difference between backspace and offset someone please explain im looking to order the rims today

I went with 15x10 because I knew I would be going to 33x15x12.5 in the future. So I guess it really depends on what your plans are.

that alone almost makes you not want to put them on a rig that you wheel.

DETOURS

Depending on your tire width, I woulda gottin the narrower set...only cuzz when you air down, the tire is less likely to loose a bead........but then again, thats only if you plan on airing down......

Nice rim.

Typically thow, rims are throw a-ways in many Jeepers eyes, we bend the crap out of them, destroy thier finish.....just to do it again. So on that note, cheap 'steelies' are extremely common.

Are those 'forged' aluminum or cast??

Summit has specials with free shipping pretty often. It may be worth the wait if they don't have free shipping right now.
