as my budget wouldn't stretch to a NOCO I decided to have a hunt for similar items. The search came up with these.. They can be used as backup charging for you phone or tablet, have a useful LED torch, and just in case your really in it deep, a small compass. The most important bit is the ability to Jump start the Jeep. As per title, it's no NOCO, but it will do what I need, and neat enough to store in the glove box or recovery gear box. :)

Oops ! Forgot that bit. :rolleye0012: £59 or around $90 NOCOs in the UK are around 3 times the price.

A NOCO here is about $120 on Amazon. I have found a no NOCO at a NAPA auto parts store for the same price that has the claim of not overheating when charging off the alternator

That Zippo is AWESOME!

My better half tracked that one down for Xmas last year. :) there's some nice ones with a modded jku on eBay just now.

I did suspect the NOCOs would be a lot cheaper in the US.

I kind of want one, but low on my priority list right now. Too much other stuff to get first :D

Just been reading the blurb, it delivers 200A for starting, with a 400A peak dump for 3 seconds.
