I need a good engine for my 1992.

I am looking for a good running engine for my 1992 XJ. I need it to be an early engine so I wont run into all the problems with changing the intake. Let me know what you have available. This is my DD and I run a small business out of her and the old girl's engine is just giving out. Sounds like the connecting rods are starting to knock the oil pan.

Not sure where you are located. Only Cypress I know of is in Texas, and if that is the case you probably wouldn't be interested. But I looked at a good running 4.0L tonight for $175 up here in Ohio.

You sure its the engine? Mine sounded like that when the torque converter bolts were loose. You've probably already ruled that out, but figured I'd post up just in case.

SO how many miles and how much are you asking for it. Also what year is it from?

I will look into that I need to work on my safety switch so I can just plan a week end to do both.
