I currently have Pro Comp's M/T (Dont go offroad enough to justify buying another set of M/T's) and am looking at either the Firestone destination or the BF Goodwrench All-Terrain T/A KO. The latter is almost $40 more a tire.

But I am open to suggestions to any other tire anyone has had good luck with.
I run 31"X10.5X15" and also didnt know if i went up to a 33" tire if that would throw my speedo off and mess up the RPM's im turning while on the Interstate.

Driving around on 32" tires with an auto and 3.55 gears is ok, but getting up to highway speeds feels weird in over drive. If you are going to 33's I would advice a short term plan to change the speedo gear and diff gears. 4.10 puts you back to stock gearing with 33's, 4.56 makes you just that little be cooler.

I have 4.10 gears now. :) Sorry forgot to mention that earlier... I like the look of 31's but 33's I think would look alot better. I just hope on a 10.5" rim they wont look to skinny...

I really like my BFG MT. As soon as I decided to go with AT, I'd slide off the road and get stuck. I'll stick with the MT and keep all the bases covered.

My 32x11.5's are on a 10" wide wheel. I think they look good. I did get the 10" wheel in anticipation of 33x12.5 though.

I have the BFG KOs but want to try the Coopers next time. Those and the Toyos are the best looking tread patterns I have seen for multi-use.

4.10 are not a bad ratio for 33s. BFGs have been around a long time and a real proven tire. They are not a mud tire by any means, but they work reasonably well off road. I have them on the back of my puck up and have been happy with them.

They are $30 cheaper a tire. I didnt even think to check those out. Ok so now its down to the BFG's and the General Grabber.

BFG - Made in USA! :)
- Raised White Letter :)
- Look BA :)
- Price is $120 more set :(
- Slightly less Treadwear :(
- Lot of People Run These (that says something)

General Grabber - Made in Mexico. :(
- Cheaper by over $120 / Set :)
- Only Outlined Letters :(
- Out performs the BFG in every category in this survey. (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=ORAT&tireSearch=true&width=31X&ratio=10.5&diameter=15&filter=y&sortValue=0)

Man this is getting hard to decide...

What size tires and how much are they each?

I paid $167 for my 32x11.5 for the first 4 and then after 4 to 6 months I bought the spare for $178 (I think).

I could not figure out how to get a table to work so the first price is for 31"x10.5x15 and the price to the right (higher of course :) is the 33"x12.5x15

Here are the price / size (this is the mounted/balanced price)

Firestone Destination A/T $134 $159

General Grabber AT2 $139 ? (have to call)

BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T $159 $184

So nearly $30 / Tire difference in the Firestone and BF in 33"

Im looking to spent tax and all between $588 (firestone 31) and $807 (BF in 33) for tires... lol... I just hope they dont wear as fast as the tires did on my last car... lol...

I forgot, you're looking at the ATs. I think those are cheaper than the MTs. Thanks!

I have a buddy with the Cooper Discovery ATs, and he loves them!! Everyone in the world runs BFGs, and I know they are good, but I'm no sheep, and like to think for myself. The Coopers look really nice too!!

lol... Yea thats another thing ive been thinking about... I want something different... But then again if everyone runs them then that must say something about the tire... lol... :)

It will be just after Christmas before I can buy a new set. (Trying to pay off a Capital One Credit Card) :( So I will continue to look. I really wish I could find some nice 15x10 rims. I thought I had 10" already but I have 8" rims.

I want to go with a 33x12.50x15 I just like the looks better. Just wonder if they will stick out past my bushmasters? Anyone on here have Bushmasters and a 12.50 wide tire?

Bushmaster, or Bushwhacker...??

Side note...12.5" wide tires will fit perfectly on an 8" rim, I run 7" rims with mine, and have for years. I like the wheel being tucked into the tire a bit more, for protection purposes, and I just adjust the air pressure to compensate. HTH!!

I ending up going with BFG AT KO's these are my second set of BFG AT and I really like the tire I think they hold up great and do very very well in all conditions. I bought mine from Americas Tire! Those guy are great and I got the protection plan so if I ever get anything in my tire that they can't patch I get a brand new tires. Plus free rotation and balance.
The big thing is that the BFG have a Mileage Guarantee
