View Full Version : Installed ZJ seats in my 95 XJ

I bought some nice 98 ZJ seats for my XJ 2dr. They installed without any problems in about an hour I also installed the tilt mechanism off the original factory seats to allow access to the back again no problems So any 2dr guys wondering about the swap you can keep you tilt, these are ZJ seats bolted to the XJ seat frame. The difference in comfort is amazing. and the side bolstering is nice.:driving:

I has heard that the ZJ seats were too wide to bolt into an XJ without removing the center console. Sure would love to see the pics when you get them posted.

V8 swap put on hold I had a 5.3L and 4l60 out of a 05 silverado ready to go had to sell I was a pipeline foreman and as the Texas folks know that pretty much died,

I swap in a set of leather, 5 way adjustable buckets from an older 'Limited' XJ I once had...very comfy as well......3 XJ's later!
