I have been looking around for some wheels that nobody else has on their XJ. And then I came across the early Mustang Bullitt Wheels. They look pretty awesome and the bolt pattern fits right up. I also can most likely get them for pretty cheap. What do you think about that idea?

Here's a whole page of them. I'm leaning towards the Anthracite Bullitt Wheel 94-09 (17x8) or the all white ones. haha

Let me know what you think.

Personally I wouldn't go with a 17" wheel. The smaller the wheel and the bigger the tire is what I like. 15" with 35 for example. This gives you lots of rubber between the ground and the wheel. More rubber (especially when aired down) is more traction.

It's a good looking wheel, it reminds me of the factory econs that I had on mine. My only other concern would be is the wheel strong enough to take off road side to side torques.

i think the spaceing would be off and if you use your jeep in the rocks you are going to rip your lugs off they will stick out to far. and are they going to hold up.

X2 plus tires for 17" rims would be more expensive.

Thanks for stealing my thunder there.. haha. Only kidding. It was just a thought that I had come up with. I don't want to be just that other lifted Jeep. I want my rig to be unique. There are atleats two other XJ's around here that are lifted 4.5 and 6 inches with 33's and 35's. Both with black rock crawler wheels. I want to stand out a little, you know?

nothing wrong with that.
I'm the same way here I want have a different look on my rig with so many cherokees in the area.
Atleast I know I'm the only one in El paso/Las Cruces area with a full set of TJ flares that i know of

I believe the backspacing is 6.85" on those. Way to much for an XJ. I work for Ford and thats the spacing listed in there performance book.
