look closely at the pic below and you'll see where the back window got broken and the second is how I fixed it with sheet metal aka the panel wagon mod.http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk253/xjod/3-30-08016.jpg
This resulted in the following open top variations
no. 1

Love the progression shots. I bet that XJ had no idea what was going to happen to it.

Did you do anything to the interior to keep mold from forming when it rains? Any holes in the floor board for drainage?

I like the last pic the best.

Doing donuts!!!

yes I do have drainage holes. There is no chance of mold because I have no carpets, the passenger side floor had to be replaced. It's 14gauge tread plate.

What about the seats? I thought they looked stock.

The seats are stock. Wyoming has a very dry climate, even with the snow and rain. Don't ask me how it rained half of the summer. The floor boards get wet sometimes but I've had no new rust or mold. I built it like this because I really wanted an open top Jeep but, couldn't deny my love for the XJ (my third one). I like the size so I can get thru the tight trails here. Lots of old two tracks in the mountains.
