Battery charging WTF?

With the nice weather, I thought it's about time time to get going on some jeep stuff, but my battery is dead. I hooked the charger up to the battery while It still in the Jeep. The parking lights and dash lights are flashing on and off while The charger is charging. What gives? I think I'll disconnect the battery. Just never seen that happen before.

Is it flashing with the light switch in the off position??? Gremlins... you gotta feed em regularly or they'll eat your jeep.

Yes. Light switch off. Key out of the ignition. Weird. It must be gremlins. Jeeplings.
