After reading Mudderoy's thread about his door sills, I decided that I really needed a set from Howler as well. I picked them up this morning from the post office took them out of the box and was jumping up and down with excitement ( they looked even prettier then in pictures ) couldn't wait so I had them installed with in 10 min. (Out in the hail storm). So what do you all think of them? I'm in love with them , thanks Howler_GT!!!!

I think you should drive around with the doors open so everyone can see them!

And be careful getting in the jeep for the next few days. You'll bump your head because you'll be staring at the sills! Ask me how I know.

I don't think so, but then again I have not closed the doors yet, too busy staring out at them through the window :smiley-laughing021:

Ok just ran out and checked, nope can't see them when the door is closed and my doors still close tight. ;)

Let me guess from experience :smiley-laughing021:

Nice die work!

Actually, no die, no metal brake. All handmade. Then re-polished.

The set Blue has was the first production.
The process has changed drastically since then.
Now...no tooling marks, cleaner edges, consistent sizing and hole location.

Glad you like em, Melissa

I was hoping to be his Guinea Pig for those A pillar Lights but that didn't work out.

I was eyeballing those. Now it looks like I'll have 5 KC lights on my new bumper. Another two on the "A" pillar might be a bit much. Especially if I do the over head lights. I've got to have a serious look at the electrical system even with the 5 130watt lights. lol

Actually, I was the guinea pig for the thresholds.
But Blue was the first customer set.

Heck our 91 only has the rears.
The lengths I get my raw materials in leaves me with enough to make 2 extra rear sills. So I have alot of small d/plate laying around.

As for the A-pillar mounts, they havent sold as well as I thought they would.
To date: 4 sets in use (ME and Clay) and 2 customers.
They MAY get discontinued :smiley-scared002: Not sure yet.

Understandable. If I hadn't ordered this bumper I'd probably already have a set. I thought it was a great idea to have that option available for the XJ.
