Well I got hooked by the XJ Talk Podcast about a month ago. So I decided to join the forum here as I have a stock 1999 XJ that I use as a daily driver. I've owned it since October 2012 and have put about 28,000 miles on it since. Love its reliability and ease of driving for the winter here in Iowa. During the summer I mainly am out riding my 2001 Triumph Tiger. Look forward to connecting with everyone on here!

Welcome to the site, Kyle. Even though i am from Texas my xj migrated here from Iowa too.

I see you're a fabricator, are those skill going to make their way into building up the xj? Or are you going to keep it a good driving stocker? :D

Haha thanks. Not sure what I'm gunna do to it. Leaving it stock for now. I will probably be working on it a little during the summer as I have a small coolant leak somewhere and I'll have a motorcycle as a second form of transportation for parts if need be. Other than that, I'm just enjoying it for now as a dependable daily driver.

IOWA! Welcome to the board. I too have a 99'. It should treat you well. Have you located the the source of the coolant leak? I had to change out all of my cooling about 1.5yrs ago. Fire away if you have any questions.
