Well I guess I'll throw up some pictures of my babies. My new Cherokee and the Commander. Have to have a Commander. Need something to drop the panties when the trail rigs don't work. :bacondance:

I like the commanders. I think they are what the 2014 Cherokees should look like.

2014 Cherokees are a disaster.

Found a pic of my first Jeep ever. My '63 CJ5. Drove through near blizzard conditions across 2 states in a Mitsubishi Eclipse to pick this baby up to drive home. Driving this home was my first experience driving manual as well. Trial by snow, but it all worked out.

The 63 CJ5 is that vehicle for me that I always regret selling. Sure the heat coming through the firewall during the summer sucked and the exhaust coming filling the cab with the top down was a pain. But I miss and loved that Jeep with all my heart.

I love the Commander, but I wish it had more cargo room. It is so smooth to drive down the road and feels great on long drives. Absolutely love it. Picked it up with 22000 mi. last year for 9k at a dealership. They are usually pretty cheap. Kind of surprising.

If you want more storage and a nice smooth ride I'd go with a Commander.

He's already to pull one engine and throw the other one in. Yes it is a he. I'm not of the type to name my vehicles after lady names. The cars and trucks I drive have balls.

Still can't believe this is a 16 year old Ohio vehicle. Engine is coming out quite well. My uncle had to make a run for some reverse torx bits, but it is thus far a pretty easy swap.

The oil pan that came with my new engine has the hump in a different spot and isn't going to work. Ordering one of those is going to slow things down or the Jeep would be done tomorrow. Other than that it would be done. :(

Also got a call today to start a new job tomorrow. Guess that is good and bad. Bad because I had wanted to have the Jeep done ASAP and now most likely won't be able to work on it until the weekend. Good because now I'll have more money to get upgrades quicker.

So rockauto.com said it would be 6 days to get my oil pan. Fortunately/unfortunately it was overnighted. Now I have all the parts and no time until the weekend. Seeing everything there waiting to be put together and not having the time to really do it saddens me. Setting a date of Sunday to have the Jeep out of the garage and flying down the road so I can figure out what other problems it has that I couldn't tell from just seeing it in the guys garage when I bought it.
