Yes, spacers is probably the easiest and cheapest way

If you are just leveling, no worries on the driveline or castor angles. But I don't know if you have a long or short arm kit

I had pro comp 1" spacer on the front of my XJ, I liked it, did fine offroading

I had a rough country 6.5" short arm kit on mine, added a 1" spacer in front and a 1" block in rear and she performed great, flexed just as good as some long armed XJ's when I went on the rti ramp with them(and offroad ofcourse)

You should be able to level it with the short arms. But I am a purest when it comes to suspensions. Too much addition to the front short arm stuff upsets the castor angle for highway driving purposes. Personally, if you are intending to go up much higher I would go to long arms. Not that it cannot be done on short arms, but I think you will like it much better. Less harsh in the bumps with long arms

Yes, there are way more expensive ones. But don't fix what isn't broken. Me personally. I'm not a fan of the name brand. Mainly b/c I've seen "Made in China" on their boxes.

If you are looking for the really good tough stuff, there are two good sources. One is Ironman Andy, a vendor on this forum. Don't hurt yourself lifting it. Another that uses even better joints than Johnny Joints is Partsmike.com. I use his stuff and have not had to rebuild the rod ends in two years. None of it is cheap, but quality is #1
