OK here is how I did my round headlights.
I got my bucket from a 78 f150 I have.

Start by pulling off the headlight bezel and turn signal.

Once you have those off loosen the adjusters screws and a take a screw driver and pop them off the headlight. Unhook the spring and headlight, then set the head light aside.

I recommend that you get new adjusters I broke mine.

Next all you do is hook up the spring and slip in the adjuster screws.

Here is the tricky part.
You have to cut the turn signal housing. So it will fit. The reflecting material was gone out of mine.

Put everything back on and your done. Took my about 30 mins for the driver side. Next week I'll do the passenger side.

So what is the purpose of this? Is it just to be different or do you prefer the looks of round headlights? Or maybe a better selection of after market headlamps? I don't see why this is a good thing to do. Could you let me know the reasoning behind this? Thanks

All of the above. Plus my driver light was real dim. The lights are a couple years old and are still brighter than stock. I will be getting a set of h4s down the road butt these sealed beams are brighter.

There's something about the look that I love. I've been wanting to make mine look like this guy's for a while.
