I had this crazy idea today to run down to Houston to a surplus store I like to shop at. All I was looking for was some ammo cans for ammo storage and for a little project on the crawler. Earlier this week I asked the owner of my shop building if I could cut the wall out and put a louvered ventilation fan on the back wall. Answer was yes, on my dime.
Just as I was getting in the car to leave the surplus shop I noticed a shiny new louvered ventilation fan sitting outside. The owner said he just got it in from grainger as "damaged" merchandise. The casing on the motor around where the wiring goes in was mashed in and that was it. How much??? He says I haven't tested the motor, I'll take a hundred for it. LOAD IT UP!! I found it on grainger's website tonight for $885.00. I am stoked!!!
