That is a nice looking Jeep Maddi. But they are always more loved after you work on them

she is loved no matter what lol. I'm hoping the cold weather lets up a lil so i can tear into her and fix all her lil quercks before i start thinking about a lift. but i do eventually want to put a long arm kit on her.

well new update sorry i haven't been on but gotta work to get that $, but Akira blew a water-pump and i had to fix it at a flying J trucker gas station and it took me almost three hours cuz some stupid drunk guy kept trying to grab my tools from me and try to help i had to refrain from the urge to just KO his drunk nonsense. but with enough snooty comments and another trucker stepping in and calling the cops for me i got it done and went home but here is a small pic of how she was leaking it was pretty bad:thumbdown:

Wow, that dash will keep you awake at night :D

Glad you got it going Maddi. No good having green coolant draining on the ground. Might drain all the color out of the bezel :D

i did the bezel myself i did a coat of white and then three coats of electric lime. i like the do it yourself stuff, if i can do it that means on one else has to touch my jeep and mess stuff up. :)

Doing a bastard pack or full pack swap?

XjWoofy801
03-29-2014, 07:39 PM
i'm doing a full swap i have a pair of leaf springs i got from rubicon express. the passenger side is ready to go in but i gotta put my boomerang shackles together before i finish with the passenger side.

03-29-2014, 07:41 PM
OK, just trying to help you out if it was a bastard pack. Those can be done without removing the main leaf. To get that spring out I recommend a sawsall. Cut the bolt on both sides of the spring to get it out and then go from there. It will be easier that way. Be sure to oil the blade, it will cut better that way

XjWoofy801
03-29-2014, 07:44 PM
o i forgot to say i got the leaf pack out but in the prosses of doing so i broke the weld on the bolt that is inside the frame. hence y i need to cut the floor but the passengerside gave me no problems.
