If you liked Shiloh Ridge you should really take the extra 40 minute drive and go to River Run outside Jacksonville. I have been to both and like River Run over Shiloh. Fair warning though there are some DEEP holes out there. especially on the highline.

I'm not much on a lot of mud. Takes to much work to clean up a machine without fenders. Does River Run have plenty of things besides mud?

they have a lot of stuff. they are more geared towards mud but there are a few technical areas. they have a store on site, they have a pressure bay on site. concert pavilion, rv hookups. I don't know if any would really be challenging to a rig like your buggy. I just dislike Shiloh because of all the idiots that get drunk and wind up hurting themselves and others. I heard they have reigned it in a lot but haven't been in a few years. last time I was there my ex wifes cousin flipped his custom samauri and broke his arm.

Yes but it's so much fun to sit quietly (and sober) on the side lines and watch. It's also cool to watch helicopters land in the hay field.:D

Shilo is under new management so we shall see how it goes in the future.

true. very true. but I was sitting on the sideline and still got hit by a drunk idiot. granted I was in an 85 Toyota T1000 flat bed and it really didn't hurt anything but the point was a drunk idiot hit me. yeah LOL we watched the Helicopter land for Joel when he flipped the samauri. we were all sober he just took a bad hop at the top of the hill and before he could let off the skinny he flipped all the way down. broken arm, leg, concussion. it wasn't pretty. I didn't know that they were under new management. might have to go back up there and check it out
