needed a new #3 Phillips. I went to ACE hardware and a new one(they only have one) was going to be about $7.50 with tax. I purchased a #3 combo for $2.79. I went home and cut of the broken part of an old flat tip and the fla ttip part of the combo and welded them together.

When ever I need a screwdriver I just grab one of the wife's butter knives.
A few more nights on the couch and I'll have all the kinks worked out of my back.

I had to go to the doghouse for stealin her tweezers, but how else was I gonna get that screw out of my steering column? lol:o

That's what I love about this forum...I get to find out that I'm not the only guy who ever did something like that! Most recently got scolded for using lip gloss as a highliter! LMAO:smiley-laughing021:

And in case anyone wonders, nail polish works great for restoring timing marks on a Harmonic Balancer!

lipstick work good for alining marks what would we do if we didn't have womens make up supplys and the face brush work good on cleaning vents. and yes I spend alot of time in the dog house so much I think it need a addon this summer :)
