I received this yesterday and i thought i would give my thoughts on it for anyone looking to pick one up.

First off though, i wanna say a BIG THANKS to The XJTALK SHOW! for the awesome giveaway! I've always wanted one of these. You guys rock!

Like a kid at Christmas i couldn't wait to rip the box open. Here's what i found.

20,000lbs rated snatch block. Had a little rust on the pulley but looks beefy and functions very smoothly.

Leather gloves. At first thought, these are really thin. I doubt they'll do much in the way of keeping wire from coming through to draw blood. We'll see how they hold up.

(2) 9,500 lbs. rated d-ring shackles. No issues by visual inspection, like the coatings too. I have one of the same in my receiver and its held up well.

20,000 lbs. rated 2" x (i believe) 20' tow strap. Very nice in my opinion. Has protective coverings over the end loops and seems good quality.

30,000 lbs. rated 2" tree saver. Same as tow strap.

Winch line weight. Somewhat thin for the abuse it will receive. Has a reflective stripe on each side, i like this to help in seeing the line at night. Also, notes weigh with minimum of 5 lbs in pockets. But, the pockets aren't very big and don't have anything to close them. So if you have slack in your line and it falls to the ground the weight will most likely fall out every time. All in all, should do its job.

Again, a bit thin for the abuse. But the perfect size for what it comes with, no extra space but not cramming either. I like it.

Hope this helps someone out.

I almost ordered one of those for my XJ, but the radiator and water pump decided to blow up on me first!! Awesome review, can't wait to see how it does at it's purpose, hopefully more on someone else's rig then your own!!
