View Full Version : Radiator removal 2000 grand

So anyone pulled one ...any tips ...seems I killed mine ...something went snap and put plastic fan through rad...will know more when I pull it ...only clue so far is I felt a slight vibration when I turned the ac on ....so that might well be number three radiator on my jeeps this year...jeep is a 2000 4.7 ....never seen mud ...and I think that may have a lot to do with it ......

You are right. Should have gotten it dirty

The ones I have seen in the wrecking yard seemed straight forward as far as removing the is concerned. Never done it though

Well, you could always wrap a chain around it and yank it out, but methinks that MIGHT cause other problems....

lol on 2nd vid......1st one is different to mine ..to take grill off the whole bumper has to come off .......:smiley-scared003:......

Holy crap.... might do it without taking the grill off. Tighter squeeze, but worth it to me

anyone seen this before ....auxiliary has let go and shot the rad to bits plus killed the shroud .....seems fan motor seized or dropped ball bearings if in in there .......jeeps eh :D
