Mark; Do you think I have enough room on the side hoops for lights? It looks pretty close. Looks like the light tabs may have to be pretty close to where the side tubes meet the center hoop? Which is fine with me, if you think it makes sense. :thumbsup: BTW, I can see that the tube size you used for the bumper actually "fits" the bump better than my drawing. Those tubes were too small.

Mark; Don't forget. NO to packing up a CAT and YES to giving me a DETOURS sticker, like the one you had on this bumper, but white. If you don't have white that orange red one is ok. I just think the white will show up better.

You'd have to contact DETOURS for a build me price, but it would be in the high $900 range, just like the ARB bull bumper. Less than the Hanson though.

lol no you are NOT the only one. Lots of people made the comment "Great bumper, but arrrgg! diamond plate.

The front bumper is diamond plate because the rear bumper is diamond plate. The rear bumper is diamond plate because I waffled back and forth over smooth or diamond for months. I figured the diamond plate was stronger and ultimately I just wanted some texture on the bumper. Diamond plate is more difficult to work with also.

So nothing wrong with you liking what you like. :thumbsup:

Maybe it's a Texas thing. I see a lot of custom diamond plate bumpers on trucks here.

I know of a bumper co. in Texas (I think) who make a Mad Max type of bumper and they have the D.P. everywhere...

Again I like the design... and it lookssssss cool if I cross my eyes a little and blur the D.P. HA ! LOL !!
