No bus code

[DP2001]

My 2001 has code 'no bus' on the odometer. Has something to do with gauges. And it's not constant. Anyone run in to this?

This is a common problem on the late XJs. It is generally caused by a poor connection at the plug in the back of the instrument cluster. You will need to pull the bezel and instrument cluster and clean the contacts and put it all back together
