Anyone live in or near Odessa? I am looking to move there in a few months and would like to know what its like there. Any help would be appreciated

Dont live there, but i can tell you what its like......HOT!!!!!!!

How hot in the summer? Is there any rivers or lakes close by? Is the town nice or a crap hole?

100's in the summer cold in the winter. It's oil and gas town.

From what I know... many people work there as transplants for oil & Gas companies... I dont know if its a "crap hole" but its way out in West Texas

Meh, it's a dry heat. Not nearly as humid as us on the gulf coast. Just think... you'll get to wheel in the winter!
