A friend of mine sent me this e-mail. Now if this was a Cherokee I'd tell him to cut that crap off and just use the hose and a hose clamp. I thought I'd check with my more knowledgeable "GC" brethren first.

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is leaking trans fluid. My mechanic says its the trans line where it connects to the radiator. There is a bent piece of pipe with a coupling on the end that apparently isn't sold by the dealer or any after market parts maker either. So, being the jeep guy that you are, any solution for me to the problem, a work around, or is there someplace I can get one that you know of? It's the lower by the way, thanks for any help.

If he can get away with it why not. A lot of those plastic fitting pieces are expensive anyway, if you can even find them.

Sent via messenger pigeon - i talk, he types.
