So this weekend was the start of my rebuild of my classic. Well really the tear down. I am still in shock for a car that is 52 years old and in such good shape. I have had it in dry storage for 4 years and some of you have olny seen it being a shelf in the shop tucked away in a corner. So here are the specs

1961 Ford Galaxie Town Victoria 4dr
41,XXX miles
352 FE big block ford
FMX Tranny with a 9in in the back

So the story goes I save this car (After it dropped a intake valve) from becoming a couch. I had been on a hunt for a rust free or as very minor as I could find. This one popped up after a 10 year search (not many to be found)

The day I got it home

And here starts my teardown

The tear down looks easier than pulling it out of its hidey hole lol

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 because my microwave couldn't do it

Looks like a fun car! What color did you settle on? You doing the work on it at the shop? Noticed two difference locals in the pics.

Still stuck on a version of green, and yes all work minus the frame sandblasting will be done at the shop

And a big breakfast for everyone! Probably the safest thing you'll ever drive.

A modern green. I've realized i can't bring it back to its original glory due to limited parts (that body style is a 1 year style). So this will be a restomod car :D
