I finally changed the oil. I went with Mobile 1 synthetic and a puralator oil filter. So far so good. No leaks, and oil pressure seems to be about 10 psi higher.

I may change to Royal Purple next oil change. I really like that stuff in my diffs.

I relocated the switch and gauge today:

Lets see the only things I have done to my Jeep in the past week was installed the new door sills, put on my new sticker, checked my fluids and topped off the radiator. Thats it, nothing exciting.

Well after seeing a similar setup like this by someone else I decided to do it as well. I had originally mounted everything on the cargo floor. After deciding to remove my spare from inside the cargo area I knew this was a much better setup. I put some metal plates behind the plastic and attached them to Jeeps metal, then attached the brackets to that. So far so good.

The interior is what I love the most about my Jeep, I think it looks pretty darn good for a 93, no cracks or rips.

It was a busy week XJ-wise: Got a new water pump & serp belt, painted the aluminum wheels black & put them back on, bought a complete set of black Gorilla locking lug nuts, installed same with the aluminum wheels, re-mounted the rear flares, touched up bumper paint, fixed the dead horn (finally), had the flat spare fixed & replaced on the carrier, put my Detours stickers on, added 2 more lights to the roof rack (now totals 4).

I just got back from a 80 mile round trip to some friends house. He wants to set up a video surveillance system and he wanted me to come out and advise him on how to go about it, purchase, etc...

The Jeep was flawless going out and back. Even thought it was hot outside, it was cool in the Jeep, and I didn't feel any lose in performance. It would get a little weak when it was hot outside in the past.

Since we went past where I work I was able to show the family how well the Jeep takes corners now. lol Everyone was impressed, after releasing their death grips from the 90 degree turn at 25 miles per hour.

OH! I'll be going back out there soon. They have 250 acres of woods and trails perfect for the Jeep. They run a camp for kids. I'm going to wait until the camp is over and then the family and I will go hit the trails. Should be a blast. I've been wanting to get it off road for a while now. Maybe I'll find some mud.

I've been busier than a one-legged man in a Georgia butt-kickin contest, dividing my weekend time with the Jeep and fix'in my sister's house.

I got a used Warn winch in a hitch carrier with all cables wires and solenoids for front and rear hookups plus he threw in a snatchblock/doubler. So then I had to get a used hitch of course, got the hitch for a song on Craig's List (needed sanding and paint) and got the mounting hardware from a great guy in FL in the "Free Stuff" section of JeepForum.com. Gotta see if the frame is too rusted to mount the hitch in the threaded holes without drilling and welding work. It's gonna be close - the experts at U-Haul kinda snickered when they looked under the rear and said they only mount what they sell but I was in for problems.

I also got cheap HD D rings from Tractor Supply and sanded and painted them red.
Then I couldn't resist and got some local used 31" MT/Rs I came across and mounted them on the stock rims (slight rubbing at full lock on the Rough Country tubular lower arms (nice engineering guys since I was gonna get 30's but their website recommends 31's with my suspension lift kit!!!).
Gotta take and post some new pics!

Y'know what? I just realized that I still have no good pics of the bumper. Gonna quench your thirst Mudderoy. I'm off from work the next 2 days and I'll see about those pics. I get a little self conscious taking pics out front in full view of my neighbors. They sit inside the windows all day & mind everyone's business ... retired folks ... So I'll drive her somewhere.

When I win the shock relocators from your contest they'll lift the rear some. Until then, I have already bought a set of shackle relocators & they should raise the hind-quarters about an inch or so. If all that don't work, then I guess some new springs are in my future :D.

Dirt Dogg, the 2 on the outside are KCs, got 'em for Christmas. The 2 in the middle I picked up at Walmart. Like Mudderoy's, they're for show so far. Not wired up yet.

Thanks Mel & N1TZU!

If those relocators lift your rig in the back then that means your shocks are too short and that is a problem. Those relocators shouldn't lift at all, or make things shorter for that matter.

OMG you worry about the neighbors too much. You sound like my wife. With one hand hold and take the pictures and with the other hand :smiley-finger007: "salute" the neighbors! :rotfl2:
lol, every light I have on the rig works, thank you very much.

I don't want to go too far OT, but which relocators? For the HD Engineering, the additional lift is a feature of the spring relocators. Read about them here (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=956630) on NAXJA.

I'm running OME Long Travel shocks. Don't think they're too short ... I guess I read the Detours website wrong way back?

Lifted it a little more with some spacers i got for trimming a buddys fenders. total of 6in in the front now.

Going to see if the MJ shackles will lift the rear at least 2 inces... HOPEFULLY because i have some here

The tire shop may not fix it, but you can. Be safe though. I have a like new BFG like that. I'm going to get a soft 8 to mount it on so I can have 2 spare tires. Nothing I'd want to drive 70 mph on, but in an emergency...
