Quick hello, I’m new just joined. I just bought a 2000 with 109k miles plan to use it as a dd and play rig. I will slowly start to transform it into a more viable trail rig very soon. I’m 41 single live in Overland Park. I have one son 19 who just shipped out for Afghanistan with the Army Reserves. So any advice or off road areas around or within a weekend trip would love to know about them….

Ok I know its taken me for ever to get back here and post some pics but here they are. I'm off work the whole memorial week so if the weather doesn't totally blow I will be getting my lift put on. :pray:

Nice clean slate, its gonna look great lifted. Good luck and be sure to spray some penetrant on before hand.

Well I have been spraying PB on it for the last couple weeks. I wish the lift was on it got delivered but the springs where shipped separately so hopefully they get here by the end of the week. I will let you know cant wait to get it out on some trails. Here are some pics of the front end I tore it apart, replaced all the tie rod ends and added a Rusty’s HD tie rod and that thing is a monster.

I also got new diff covers I went with Riddler I really like the looks of them and they have some serious beef to them.
