Anyone know if it is possible to change the speed where the AW4 shifts into OD? It would be MUCH better if I could bump it up to say... 50-55 mph instead of the 43 mph it shifts at now.

Around town, etc... 43 mph is too slow and it lugs the engine. In OD at 43 mph I'm only turning about 1200 rpm or so.

Have you regeared your axles to match the increase in tire size? This could be causing your problem.

On my 33's and stock gearing I drive around town in 3, and save OD for flat stretches of highway.

Nope, haven't regeared. I know that is the problem but if I could keep the tranny in 3rd around town, and it not have it shift into OD until I reach highway speeds it would be "perfect". I'm like you now, I drive in third in town, and run OD on the highway. It would just be nice if I could put in 4th (OD) and leave it there.
