32 with no to minor trimming (at least on my 98), 33s if you do more aggressive trimming. I've been told 7x15 is fine for 32x11.5, but I would go at least 8". I use 10x15 on my rig but I was planning for 33x12.5 down the road.

I would say stick with the 32s with stock wheels you will have a piece of mind when wheelin. I put 35s on minewith a 6.5 lift didnt rub on the road but was close rubbed when wheelin put on a set of 33s night and day diference onand off road

Stick with an 8" wide rim, that's a great width for anything between 10.50-12.50 tires.

just cut it up and fit the 33s and then if you rub put spacers in the front and shackels in the rear.

IMO, I'd go with 33's at 4.5" of lift.

I have the 33's with a 4.5" lift. I think it looks great but I did have to do some trimming. The rims are 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing.

Either 32s or 33s, depending on your preference. On rim size, you can get away with stock rims, but the tire will not be as stable and will not last as long. You should use a rim size about 2" less than the stated tire size.

Good info. My 32's on 15x8s are wearing in the center. I've dropped the psi to about 28-30 to get save the center, and wear on the outside. Since my XJ is still close to stock weight, the tires just like to run center. I like the look of 33x12.50s, but am seriously considering 33x10.50s which would allow more psi, and do better on the ice and snow. The 32s have done ok on the trail. They grip well but I do wish for more ground clearance. If I could adapt some 17" JK Moab rims, I'd go for Cooper STTs in a 295/70 17s as they are more than true 33s yet nearly as narrow as a 32. With my 15s, I'm stuck with just a couple of choices. I will say the 4.56 gears really helped with the 32s and should be fine for 33s - even at this altitude. My 32s do rub a little at full stuff - even with some trimming and Rusty's flares. I can still trim more, but will us bump stock extensions first.

It depends on the tire brand. Not all 32s are 32s. example. My buddy has 33in pro comps and my 31in swampers are bigger than his. We measured and everything and mine are a half in bigger than his.Research the tire sites of tires you are considering.Thats what I did and got the biggest tire for my buck.
