thinking about buying the hub grappler this week anyone ever own one or used it i know you can get them cheaper on amazon but i like the 25 a week to matco http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/MST6575/HUB-GRAPPLER/

Its a nice kit and yes we use something very similar quite often , but if your not going to use it but every once in a while , i would just rent one from the local auto parts store. I really don't think the money would be justified unless you did it for a living.

....and if all your using it for is the Jeep....its not really needed for the D30.
There are so many easy ways to remove the unit bearings/hubs without the use of special tools.
Are you having a hard time getting yours out?

i do it for a living would use a couple times a month and make about 60 dollars for using it my shop has an older one (hub shark) and this one has a few more adapters one being for the rear ford explorer bearing which we dont have
