Why in the hell would the military be conducting training missions over a major metropolitan area??
I know the answer but would like your input.

I would guess they are practicing for something to go down in a major city

I will def say that I'd be scared to see that... but would love seeing it in person at the same time... especially if I knew that it as just an exercise... But I'm sure it was practice for homeland security as well as for overseas fighting...

Looks like they might be preparing to liberate Miami from the Caribbean invaders.

Practice makes perfect. Its good to see local police and the military exercise together.

Wow... What's going on? There's got to be a reason for them not publically announcing this stuff and scaring civilians...

Maybe they want to see how people react to an unannounced drill? Only good reason I can think of them not announcing it. If you think, an emergency situation wont be scheduled for everybody.

There's a few places here in East Texas those helo's would have been treated like skeet shot. Not a good idea flying around hanging out of them things with weapons. Some folks don't believe in "drills".

Interesting that the exercise is taking place in several areas ... and without notification to the public.

Considering the area covered by the exercise .... maybe you blokes should keep an eye out for redcoats ... :p :D

When I was a kid our house was in a military flying pattern and I saw F-16s, those twin prop helicopters and even a stealth fighter once.

We live in the flight path of Edwards AFB and its the Air Forces test site so we see all the new stuff flying over us. Plus NASA is here also.

That vidio might scare you but how about the fact that the US government recently purcased enough 40 cal. hollow point to put 4 holes in every american citizen. Thats all ages and ethnics, total average 4 bullets per person. The even bigger WHAT:crazy: the military nor any police, government agency are allowed to use hollow point ammo, so why did the buy em????
