Watching Spike TV Power Block Trucks! "6 Liter LS Truck Engine Swap" today I saw something that warmed my heart and made my arm hurt a little bit.

I remember the 2+ hours beating on a socket trying to get a axle u-joint out of my 1998 XJ.

This MATCO air hammer attachment pushed the u-joint cap out in seconds.

Now I have since used the big ass "C" clamp and even my bench vice, but they both have drawbacks. The "C" clamp is about $200 so I borrow it from the auto parts place. Travel back and forth, twice, not to mention the charge on my debit card for three days. The vice works great, if you had three hands.

So I found the MATCO PUJ189PNEUMATIC U-JOINT DRIVER (specific part name or number not mentioned on the show)

$40 was a bit more that I wanted to spend. So a little searching I found a Lisle part, and the picture looked amazingly the same.

Lisle Pneumatic U-Joint Driver Model 18980

I found one on eBay with free shipping for $25.88. :link: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/230839245954)

That'll def be a nice addition to my air hammer for when it comes time to do U-joints, both on my axle and my DS's.... especially if I can get the cheaper one...
